Autometric Body and Paint(“Autometric,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a family-owned auto body shop located at 490 S. Telegraph Rd., Pontiac, MI 48341. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website or request an estimate, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to the website at www.autometricbody.com and any forms or features hosted there.

2.1 Information you give us
When you request an estimate through our website form we collect:
- Your name
- Your phone number
- Your email address
- Vehicle details (year, make, model, color, and any other information you choose to share)
- Photos you upload of the vehicle, including any metadata embedded in those photos (e.g., date taken, camera model)
- Any free-text description of the damage or work you’re requesting
We collect this information only because you provide it, and only to respond to your estimate request and provide the services you ask for.
2.2 Information collected automatically
When you visit the website, we and our analytics provider (Google Analytics 4) automatically collect a limited set of technical information:
- IP address (truncated by GA4 before storage), approximate location (city/region level), and device/browser type
- Pages viewed, time spent, and referrer URLs
- Interactions like clicking the estimate-form button, scrolling to specific sections, or starting/submitting a form
We do not use cross-site tracking or advertising cookies. We do not sell personal information.
3. How we use your information
- Respond to your request. We use your contact info and vehicle photos to prepare an estimate and follow up by phone or text.
- Coordinate with your insurance.If you ask us to file a claim or work with your carrier, we share what’s needed (photos, scope of work, your contact info) with that carrier on your behalf.
- Improve the site and our services. Aggregated, de-identified analytics help us understand which pages and services people find useful.
- Comply with the law.We’ll retain and disclose records when legally required (subpoena, lawful request, regulatory audit).
4. Service providers we use
We share information with the third-party services below only to the extent needed to operate the site and respond to your requests. Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data.
- GoHighLevel – receives and stores estimate form submissions on our behalf. They process this information as our data processor.
- Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) – provides first-party analytics about how the site is used.
- Vercel – hosts the website. Vercel processes standard server logs (IP address, request path, timestamp, user agent) to operate the platform.
- Sanity – provides the content management system the site is built on. Sanity stores the public content of the site (text, images) but does not store visitor or form-submission data.
5. Cookies and tracking
We use only the cookies needed to operate the site and a limited number of first-party analytics cookies set by Google Analytics 4. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; some site features may stop working if you do.
6. How long we keep your information
We retain estimate-related information (your contact info, vehicle details, and uploaded photos) for as long as we’re actively working with you and for a reasonable period afterward to support warranty claims, recordkeeping, and accounting requirements. After that period, we either delete the records or de-identify them. Analytics data is retained according to Google’s default GA4 retention period.
7. Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- Confirm whether we hold information about you
- Provide you with a copy of that information
- Correct anything that’s inaccurate
- Delete your information (subject to legal and recordkeeping exceptions)

8. Children’s privacy
The site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe we have, please contact us so we can delete it.
9. Security
We use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect the information we hold: encrypted transport (HTTPS), access controls on our CRM, and reputable service providers with their own security programs. No system is perfectly secure, so we can’t guarantee that information transmitted over the internet is fully protected from loss, interception, or misuse.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the “last updated” date at the top of the page. Material changes (e.g., new categories of data we collect or new third parties we share with) will be flagged prominently on the site for a reasonable period.
